Even when i'm not supposed to work on burlesque... I do.

Stumbled across an opportunity to produce a benefit show for a local gallery come October. (!!!)

Theme: Vintage. I'm going to try and negotiate permission to build out a good stage/set for the show.

Components

* 3 Burlesque performers, 2 numbers each and one group number

- I'm not sure if this would be micromanaging, but I have a particular vision of the kinds of numbers I want in this show (particular vintage archtypes, classic boudoir, vintage carnival, the old west, Victorian, Steampunk, etc)
- Group number- One performer (first in the second act OR kitten) goes out for an encore with a steamer trunk on stage, she works with that until song changes to the frantic "villan-y" music, other performers in bra/underwear/fringe and host in a vintage villan getup grab performer, strip her, tie her up and put her in the trunk....

* Stage Kitten, 1 number in the first act (should she want/be ready to participate)and possibly the group number

* Variety Act, 2 sets

* Host/Boylesque, intro and 1 number


I'm meeting with the gallery in two weeks to firm up the details of promotion and utilization of the space. Win.
