I'm always a little nervous, no matter how prepared I may be.
Our stage kitten backed out at the last minute, cues have not been collected and while I have a disk with all the music, my ipod isn't synched with this computer so I risk erasing all my music if I try and hook it up to this one.
More scripting needs to happen, and while my costumes are incredibly complete and amazing, my second number has a part I can't practice.
Numbers: Little Bo Peep (also hosting in this costume) : Startler Brothers- Flowers on the Wall
Arabian Nights Ohgr- Water
If this wasn't enough, next month i'm participating in- Burlesque Brunch, Jim Thorpe Burlesque Festival and possibly a private dinner engagement (the proprietor of which has dropped off the map). I was supposed to do Shaken and Stirred as well, but my New York trip has been postponed (hopefully I can still catch the Tim Burton exhibit and the Victorian paper/photo art exhibit...)
On an positive note, I've had two amazing photoshoots this past week. My hair is a bi hawk of amazing and I feel like a goth monster. Glorious!
Soon RVA will be subject to "Glitterdome", a post apocalyptic movie/burlesque/dance party event. It's going to be fabulous, or a total failure. I guess we'll see.
