What. A. Town!
Trapped in the gilded age due to a weak economy post coal, Jim Thorpe is a treasured post card. I can't wait to go back next year. In terms of my performance... while I got a lot of positive feedback, It can use some polishing.
Hong Kong Garden number
* Work on second obi removal
* Work on expressions
* Make costume even more shiny
After the fallout show i'll be taking a break to work on the details of GLITTERDOME: The first Post Apocalyptic Burlesque and Dance Party, mainly the construction and choreography of a grinder act with my partner in the form of a duel in Thunderdome. My shibari wizard will be crafting some drop ropes to create the effect of an enclosure.
My burlesque to do list is growing, mostly involving working out specific choreography and pairing this with apt facial expressions for better connection with the audience.
4/4 = one year since my debut. 17 shows! 10+ numbers! (various states of polish). I wonder what the next year will bring...
